Isn't this the cutest lamp ever? Stubby and stylish. The lamp stand made of ash tree. I am in love.

chair cushions

Lovely chair cushions. Upper photo by Beatrice Lundborg for DN bostad. Lower by Anette Nantell for the same magazine. The pink piano stool is painted and upholstered by Swedish designer Johan Lindstén. The fabric used is an old embroided tapestry.

giant flower pot

Giant Flower Pot by TAF Architects.

If you like me are interested in the design process there are much to see at TAF's website.

drawings

Drawings/sketches/dessins by French Mathias Pladys. I am so fascinated by the design process. I wish more designers would share the first idea, the progressing sketches and the rejected ideas behind a finished product.

tolix

We have a Tolix stool. I often sit on it while blogging, like this. When we bought it the different color options overwhelmed us and we didn't quite agree on wich one we should buy. One of us wanted a red or a yellow and the other one wanted a steel one. When seeing these images, maybe we should have chosen a white one.

garden stool

The Toadstool, by Joe Nunn. Originally created for the designer's grandad. I love the idea and the thought of the wood aging together with the garden and the gardener.

soft parcel

Pieces of foam wrapped in fabric the same way you would wrap a parcel. Different sized modules that can be combined to a variation of seating possibilities. Love it!
