Thank you all for your comments. It impresses me that some of you can choose a favourite. I am forever ambivalent. And Jane Fitz, what a great idea - a floor blog - there's so much beauty down there.
Yes, both gorgeous! In our next home I'd definitely love to have painted floors. I just don't know if I could make up my mind between black and white :)
I collect beautiful interiors. I collect design objects that I find smart, funny, innovative or beautiful. This blog is where I save my finds. And occasionally I post from my everyday life in Stockholm, Sweden. Thanks for visiting and welcome back! Also here: Malo in the garden
Love both, but maybe the top one a smidgen more!
ReplyDeleteI love dark stained hardwood. I think it shows off your pieces best. We did ours in ebony stain. Love them, however, they do show everything!
ReplyDeleteThey are both nice but I like the first one more because of the Asian feel to the place.I think Tansu cabinets look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteyou are right ... perfect (and I love the long carpet ...)
ReplyDeleteabsolutely perfect!
ReplyDeleteThey are both so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm very partial to dark wooden floors too, so the second one is my favourite. Your blog has been a very lovely discovery!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend
Kerry.
they are both so clean and attractive, but i think the first one is the best. there should be a blog just devoted to floors!
