reading
I love this room. Sometimes I find it hard to describe or even understand what it is that I love about an interior. It's not the separate things filling it. I guess it's more of a feeling. This room to me is very inviting, bright and calm. It made me think of reading. And speaking of reading, I love this collection of short stories edited by Jeffrey Eugenides. The preface by Eugenides, where he describes his selection and his thoughts about what a love story is, is amazing. Have you read Middlesex or The Virgin Suicides? Brilliant.
Have a happy weekend everyone!

I too like the room.
ReplyDeleteI love this room too. I like the balance of light and dark. It's not too much white, with the greys and the dark touches. It's also homey and lived in without being too cluttered.
ReplyDeleteI could spend many hours in there!
everything is lovely -- your blog is quite an inspiration!
ReplyDeletei love the room. And I love Jeffrey Eugenides. I remember reading Middlesex in just 3 days...so wonderful! I also loved how it helped me imagine such detailed visuals from his words.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a lovely looking room! I've read The Virgin Suicides from Eugenides.
