reading

I love this room. Sometimes I find it hard to describe or even understand what it is that I love about an interior. It's not the separate things filling it. I guess it's more of a feeling. This room to me is very inviting, bright and calm. It made me think of reading. And speaking of reading, I love this collection of short stories edited by Jeffrey Eugenides. The preface by Eugenides, where he describes his selection and his thoughts about what a love story is, is amazing. Have you read Middlesex or The Virgin Suicides? Brilliant.
Have a happy weekend everyone!

  1. I love this room too. I like the balance of light and dark. It's not too much white, with the greys and the dark touches. It's also homey and lived in without being too cluttered.

I could spend many hours in there!

  3. i love the room. And I love Jeffrey Eugenides. I remember reading Middlesex in just 3 days...so wonderful! I also loved how it helped me imagine such detailed visuals from his words.
