I'll be away for a week at my favourite place. In fact I am already here.
I mentioned earlier my newly found interest in crocheting. Now I am totally hooked on making these little amigurumis. I bought this book by Mia Bengtsson. It's great.

ooooh, I thought that last one was a tiny stork missing its beak (the dark bit being a wing) and then realised it was a turtle... imagine!
that's why I shouldn't get involved in making anything to simply avoid a serious bastardisation of existing species :)
however, they're so pretty I'm tempted...
