vase

Even though it's freezing -18C outside I find myself looking for springish things. Have you seen this fantastic vase? It's from the line The Art of Giving Flowers by Wouter Dolk for Royal Copenhagen.

stilleben
We went for a short trip to Copenhagen and bought these two vases at Stilleben.
The first by Ditte Fischer and the second is signed Lena P and so far I haven't found any info or links about/to her work.

jonas lindholm

These bowls are by ceramist Jonas Lindholm. I got the bigger one when graduating from university 10 years ago. I can't seem to find much info about Lindholm on the web. I know that part of his work is available at Norrgavel and he's a member of Konsthantverkarna in Stockholm.
I asked about him at Norrgavel but they didn't know that much.

tiles

I first saw these screen printed tiles in a magazine a couple of years ago. I lost the magazine and forgot the name of the designer. Regularly since I've been thinking about them and even been to different shops trying to describe them. No luck until just now when I found them by a lucky chance. They are made by Ylva W Franzén. This time I won't forget!

friday

With these Happy Plates by Alexandre Bettler I'm wishing you a happy and sunny weekend. I am hoping to spend some time in that almost forgotten garden outside those windows. I suspect I will stumble upon some firework relics as I havn't been out there since new years eve.

sam baron

I love the colors and the shapes of Sam Barons ceramic collection Issima for Bosa Ceramiche. The combination dark blue/brown/white made me think of this old post.

Skotte

This is Skotte by Stig Lindberg. And an ink drawing of it by my 5 year old. They are both fenomenal. I know I am the mother (not Stig Lindberg's) but still. If you look at the drawing you can see how he first planned to draw the dog as it looks - no visable legs. Then he changed his mind and drew real legs on it.

Sigen Persson-Melin

Look at this unbelievably beautiful interior from Trönö church in swedish Hälsningland. The old church was destroyed in a fire 1998 and Signe Persson-Melin got the assignment to create a new altar space (I need a dictionary but i'm not sure that would help me. I don't even know the word for this space in swedish). Anyway it's amazing.
