Isn't this the cutest lamp ever? Stubby and stylish. The lamp stand made of ash tree. I am in love.

Lamp, Norrgavel in collaboration with Watt & Veke.

a little lamp

Sometimes interior shots moves me. Look at that little lonely dangling ceiling lamp. Like someone moved into a new home and just hanged it there for the time being. And how good it looks in all its littleness. Conscious mishap.

broken lamp

The cats broke the glass globe of this window lamp. Don't know what to do with the lamp-stand. Now I am searching,  rather aimlessly,  for inspiration. I like these. From here.

bronze

When seeing the bathroom plumbing in my last post I was reminded of my resting search for a bronzed lamp.

and also

I've been crocheting. Could there be anything more relaxing to do? I am trying to make this pendant by Pickles.
Thank you Tiger of DIY OR DIE for the link.

Ingo Maurer

Lucellino, by Ingo Maurer. Created in 1992, it must have been ahead of its time? Or maybe nothing is. Anyway, a stunning lamp here in pics from Dwell and Liselotte Risell. Ingo Maurer has created a whole serie of bird lamps and I am not sure if it really is Lucellino on the pictures. It could be Birdie's Nest too. Anyway.

painted lamp

I like this idea to make a lamp more personal. Letting your kids decorate the shades. My kids would love a task like this. Maybe love it more than I could handle.

Bolig Magasinet

fenomenal lighting

Brilliant lighting ideas by Beckman student Karolina Lagerqvist. Torch light and Skyline. I love the idea of being able to change the impression of a ceiling lamp by simply put the bulbs in or out of pockets. And the skyline threshold - genious.

Yki Nummi

Fantastic book cover by Yki Nummi(1949). The designer is perhaps best known for his Sky Flyer
Also, what a great name - Yki Nummi.

a lamp

It's so easy to fall in love with a lamp.

Playmountain

a precursor

The first designed architect/industrial lamp, The Gras Lamp, in production again by la lampe Gras. Due to problems with materials the lamp hasn't been produced since ww2. Originally designed in 1922 by Bernard-Albin Gras.

Hely

Hely lamp by Katriina Nuutinen, Kaamos. I am hypnotized.

Bottle

Bottle, pendant, table and floor lamp by Mattias Ståhlbom, TAF Architects (Gabriella Gustafsson and Mattias Ståhlbom). Produced by Zero. If you havn't already, take a look at TAF's web site. Their work is fantastic.

Via indieguest.

Bokmärken och sommar

Åh, jag älskar de här lamporna. Unity av Rose Cobb. Finns som rose moth eller pansy moth. Bara namnen gör en ju alldeles svimmig.
