new shelves

I've blogged about how we use the Ikea Bekväm shelves for our kids pens before, here. They are from the kitchen department and cost less than $3. They come in rough pine - very easy to paint. Now we've got them over our desk too.
When we renovated our kitchen four years ago we placed the sink in front of the window which left a dead space behind the sink against the window. An ideal place for a herb shelf. Finally done.

kitchen

Great looking space. Personally I would use less stripes but it still looks good. And above all, like a perfect cosy place to cook and be together.

Beautiful old kitchen. I love the black framed slanted cupboards and the golden knobs.

tiles

I first saw these screen printed tiles in a magazine a couple of years ago. I lost the magazine and forgot the name of the designer. Regularly since I've been thinking about them and even been to different shops trying to describe them. No luck until just now when I found them by a lucky chance. They are made by Ylva W Franzén. This time I won't forget!

We went to Ikea today and bought these breakfast trays, Solig, by Nygårds Maria Bengtsson. See more of the designers work at newcards.

some kitchens

These kitchens are from Stockholm apartments that have been on the market recently. It turns out we are not the only ones to go with white tiles.

Kitchen

This kind of clutter makes me both happy and a little bit nervous. I love the half painted cupboards and the Piet Hein Eek high chair (of course).

Beauty. The texture of that kitchen towel. The colors and the shapes. No words.

Kitchen

I guess i should be grateful not to be the owner of this kithen. My employer and some other people that I know would probably oppose of me refusing to leave it.
