Back home, back to work, back to blog. We went to Croatia and Slovenia for the last week of our summer holiday. I've been to Slovenia before but this was my first time visiting Croatia. Two very beautiful and friendly countries with so much to see and explore. For example Pula, Croatia has one of the world's best preserved amphitheaters.

I have only three days left at work and then I'll be on my 8 week summer holiday. During the holiday I won't be posting here. At least not very regular.  But I would be very happy to see you at my other blog, Malo in the Garden, where I'll be posting my garden struggles and ideas. But also my creating and our travels. Maybe some food and decorations too. We'll just have to see where this summer leads us. Anyway, welcome to Malo in the garden

weekend

Back home from weekend by the sea. On our way back this 12 week old kitten kept us company in the car. She's a Devon Rex like our Malla. We decided to name her after our favourite The Wire character, Kima. The kids though - not following The Wire - thought we said Kiwi and that's her name now. Kiwi.

vacation

We are having a wonderful easter holiday. This is our eggworld. It has grown since I took this picture. Now we have a kitchen and an angry chef. To be continued...

About the long break. I have longed for my blog, for your blogs, for this wonderful community. I am not yet sure the break is over. But right now i feel like posting.

I am still on vacation. Suddenly longed for my blog. Every summer since I was born I've spent parts of my summers at this place. In a house by the sea built by my grandfather, now renovated and loved by my parents. Juniper, honeysuckle, wild pansy, sheeps, flat rocks, meadows and the wind and the sea.

break

I'll be away for a week at my favourite place. In fact I am already here.
I mentioned earlier my newly found interest in crocheting. Now I am totally hooked on making these little amigurumis. I bought this book by Mia Bengtsson. It's great.

Birthday

Today was all about presents, breakfast in bed, balloons, favourite food and choklate cake. Some jealousy too. I didn't take that picture though.
"Now it's over" she said just before falling asleep. One of those moments when your children bring your own childhood back.

DN bostad har ett fint julreportage idag. Hemslöjd och hemmagjort. Finaste och juligaste stilen, tycker jag. Slår glitter och kitsch med längder. Nu blir det kanske nog förmodligen inte så mycket mer jul här på bloggen. Jag är redan trött och lite prestationsnervös.
