measure

When I was little my parents measured our growth using a book, a pencil and a yardstick. We had a special wall in the kitchen to mark our lenght and I remember it with much joy. So far I have done the same with my kids but I have wanted something more permanent. A more obvious place. I found these measuring sticks (each 50 cm) on Granit and bought four of them. Then we cut them a little to make them right and just glued them to the wall. Our kids are enthusiastic and I feel grateful and humble over how little it takes to make them happy.

Kid's room

Look at this fantastic room. Almost everything in it is home-made or old and fixed up. The bedside table for example is a painted tree trunk with a box on top symbolizing a nesting box. I am in awe!

Miles heter den här mattan av BIG-GAME.
Fantastisk design, tycker jag. Det syns ju hur roligt det är att köra bilar på den och samtidigt är den så snygg. Ovanlig kombination!
Fast bilen. Inget vrålåk direkt. Om man ändå ska leka, menar jag.

Barnservis

Åh, vad jag tycker om formen på den här barnservisen. Jag tänker på mina små och deras ätande i en särskild ålder. Hur de körde med fingrarna i maten och föste små högar hit och dit. Och de små händerna kan hålla så fint i den där muggen.
