wallpaper
We're thinking about wallpaper for the wall with the two windows (the window with the blue curtain is in the kitchen). It's hard because we don't want it to be too decorative if that make sense to anyone. And not to dominant or pale either. These are nice.
Dandelion Clocks from Sanderson
Pascal from Sandberg
Autumn Woods from Louise Body
Vallmo from Lim och Handtryck

They are all so interesting. I guess it depends on how much pattern you will be comfortable with in your room. Maybe a good idea would be to buy a yard of each and tape it to your wall and see how it feels to walk into the kitchen the next morning.
ReplyDeleteMy personal favorite is the blue-flowered one but maybe because it feels slightly antique.
Hi Jim!
ReplyDeleteI love that one too. And it is a hand printed version of an old pattern so you were right about the antiqueness.
Dandelion Clocks is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredibly inspiring blog you have! I love the last pattern, it seems so soft, warm and bright at the same time.
ReplyDeletelovely wallpaper! i think my favourite is the first. and i know what your mean... have you seen that 'fine little day' is thinking about wallpaper, too? she's posted some links as well.
ReplyDeletep.s.: i'm so sorry, have just noticed that i made i mistake when i gave you my email address for the giveaway, it should have been twinklestar(at)gmx.net. so sorry! do send me your address and if you like any of my pictures as a print and i'll be running to the post office as soon as i can ... :)
ReplyDeleteI looooove that Dandelion Clocks one, what gorgeous colors and pattern! And I always love seeing peeks of your home, it looks so beautiful and comfortable! :)
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful samples. I have such clear memories of the wallpaper from my childhood home, it's amazing how the patterns stay with us. I still love wallpaper patterns.
ReplyDeleteThe blue light flowers is my favorite for that space too, because it has a subtlety and yet that blue would be so beautiful with the changing skies.
Best wishes with whichever one you chose!
what a choice ?! wallpapers are more beautiful than those of my age !!!
ReplyDeleteI think i prefer the first one ! Bonne chance ; )
it´s hard to chose. i think i like the first one the best. besos!
ReplyDeletethe clocks...guess I want them also..
ReplyDeleteone wall would great , also for photos
All four look nice to me... oh, the agony of choice. Whatever you pick or don't pick, it is sure to look swell.
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much for your sweet comments and the much needed feed-back!! I love the Dandelion Clocks too but I think I would love it more on a smaller area. Vallmo is an old favourite of mine. I've had it in mind for many places in my home. The only thing I am sure of right now that is that it wont be Pascal.
ReplyDeletejgy: I have memories like that too. Of wallpaper and textile. It's precious.
emmie: Lycka till med flytten!! Ska bli spännande att följa. Och tack, det var roligt det där med Desire...
Kristina: Thank you for the tip about Fine Little Day. Wonderful wallpaper there.
Oh, LOVE the Dandelion Clocks! Beautiful colors! Go for it!
